Custom Cabinets in Maple & Concord: Your Neighbourhood Cabinet Maker at 70 Connie Crescent

If you live in Maple or Concord and you’re searching for custom cabinets, there’s a good chance DKC Wooden Cabinetry is your nearest professional custom cabinet shop. Our workshop is located at 70 Connie Crescent, Unit 1, Concord, ON L4K 1L6 — just off Keele Street in the heart of the Concord industrial area. We’ve been building and installing custom cabinetry for Maple and Concord homeowners since 2011, and this community is where we live and work.

Why Maple and Concord Homeowners Choose DKC

Proximity matters more than most homeowners realize. Working with a cabinet shop that’s 5–10 minutes from your home means:

• Faster response times for consultations and measurements
• Easier scheduling — we can stop by for a quick check during fabrication if needed
• Lower delivery logistics costs for large orders
• A craftsman who knows your neighbourhood, your street, and your home’s style

But proximity alone doesn’t build great cabinets. Our lead craftsman, Daniel Karimi, is Red Seal certified with 13 years of hands-on experience and NKBA Affiliate membership — qualifications that place DKC at the top of the trade. We use 3/4″ Baltic birch plywood boxes, Blum Tandembox soft-close drawers, Hettich concealed hinges, and a catalyzed conversion varnish finish. These are not standard features at most cabinet shops — they’re what separates a cabinet that lasts 30 years from one that lasts 10.

What Maple & Concord Homeowners Are Building with DKC

Custom Kitchen Cabinets

The most common request from Maple homeowners is a full kitchen cabinet replacement. Maple’s housing stock includes a large number of homes built in the 1990s with builder-grade raised-panel oak cabinets that are now 25–35 years old. We replace these with shaker-style or flat-panel custom cabinets in painted or stained finishes — typically white, soft grey, or walnut.

Walk-In Closets and Built-In Storage

Concord homeowners — particularly in the Keele/Rutherford and Weston Road/Major Mackenzie corridors — often request custom walk-in closet systems, built-in home office cabinetry, and under-stairs storage solutions. These projects transform underused space into highly functional storage.

Custom Bathroom Vanities

The master ensuite has become a priority renovation in Maple and Concord homes. A custom double-sink vanity — built to the exact width and depth of your bathroom, with the exact storage configuration your household needs — is something no stock vanity can provide.

Mudrooms and Laundry Room Cabinets

York Region winters demand a proper mudroom. We design and build custom mudroom cabinet systems for Maple and Concord homes — floor-to-ceiling locker units, bench storage, cubbies, and boot drawers — all finished to match or complement your kitchen cabinetry.
